BEFORE YOU GO LIVE
Keep building your scenes and mixing audio in OBS or Streamlabs. Use the one-click configuration button to connect your streaming software, then choose your destinations in StreamSafe. Your viewers receive the delayed broadcast. StreamSafe runs on Windows and requires an account to download and sign in.
Choose how much footage to remove, with a default total of 10 seconds, split into 9 seconds before your click and 1 second after. Adjust both portions within your total dump duration. StreamSafe removes footage still waiting in your buffer and joins the remaining video together. Viewers see a cut past the removed moment. Dumps preserve a two-second playback reserve and do not automatically switch to BRB. When room is limited, the cut is shortened, prioritizing footage before your click. Footage already sent to a platform cannot be taken back.
StreamSafe gradually rebuilds the delay during playback. For a full refill, choose Recover buffer. Your broadcast stays connected while the intermission loops and fresh footage fills the buffer. Stop recovery whenever you want to return, once at least two seconds are buffered. The full target delay is not required, and gradual recovery continues while live.
Free includes one dump per broadcast and StreamSafe branding. Pro gives you unlimited dumps and lets you switch off the branding, with the option to use your own BRB image or video. Both plans include adjustable delay, video quality controls, keyboard shortcuts, buffer recovery, and up to five streaming destinations.
Yes. Send the same delayed broadcast to up to five RTMP destinations, including Twitch and Kick. YouTube integration is coming soon. Each receives its own copy, so three destinations at 4.5 Mbps need more than 13.5 Mbps of upload capacity after audio and overhead. Follow each platform’s simulcasting rules. If a destination fails, fix the connection before restarting the broadcast.
Your video buffer and encoding stay on your PC, and StreamSafe sends the output to your chosen platforms. Our online service handles your account, subscription, and license checks. Encoding uses your CPU or a supported GPU, plus local disk space, so try your planned settings before a real broadcast.
Yes. Manage or cancel your monthly subscription from My account. Pro remains available through the end of your paid period. After that, you can continue with the Free plan, including one dump per broadcast and StreamSafe branding.

StreamSafe removes video still waiting in your local queue. It can’t recall video already sent to your streaming platform. Cuts happen at 1-second segment boundaries, and a forward guard also removes your configured after-click portion of incoming footage, including the segment being ingested when you press dump. Your account and license checks need an internet connection.
